Gosh I love these people! and the people behind the camera of this shot! Seriously, my heart felt like it was bursting at the seams in this moment! The love I have for my family and these tiny humans is just the best thing in the world!  {In this Pic: My mom and dad, sister, Morgan, and my cousins' kids: Mallory has the little baby boy mom is holding and the precious boy with the green party!. The rest are my cousin Kalee's! That's right she has the two cute girls in pink and the boy and girl twins!}

They had everything decorated for me when I walked in! A party just isn't a party without balloons, streamers, and party hats!!!

Sweet Evelyn playing mme music on her xylophone and tambourine!

These kids make life way more fun!

Seriously how perfect was my cake?!! It was red velvet with cream cheese frosting and topped with gorgeous flowers!

Hi lovelies! Today I am sharing with you all some pictures from my birthday celebration! To me, turning 25 is kind of a big deal because looking at it big picture I am halfway to 50! Which is halway to 100!!! Yikes! OK, I guess I got a little too carried away with the whole 100 thing but still. How is it time seems to move at a snails pace and in the blink of an eye at the same time?! I don't get it!

Anyway, I am so blessed that the Lord has chosen to sustain my life for these past 25 years. I look forward to living every day that he has willed for me to live.

Since my birthday fell during the weekday and most of my friends are spread across the state and in other states, I decided to just have a small intimate family birthday dinner at home with mom, dad, and Morgan. (I secretly love those kinds of celebrations!) But to my surprise, we postponed our small family dinner to Friday night because My parents and cousins had planned a surprise party for me on my actual birthday! Let me just tell you, if you ever want to feel super loved and special on your birthday -  let some kids who love you plan you a surprise party! I am telling you I have never felt so special! I had surprises all afternoon long! Cards that were made for me at school, countless birthday hugs and kisses, music and singing played to me on xylophones and tambourines, and lots of pizza and cake! Seriously, we had THE best time!

For Friday night's more low-key celebration with mom, dad, and Morgan, we stayed home and mom cooked a delicious dinner for us! It was a night of relaxation, presents and ANOTHER cake! Let me just take a second to talk about my cake. If I was asked to describe it in three words I couldn't. It was delicious, amazing, beautiful, elegant, spectacular, yummy, moist, pretty, decadent, heavenly, and to sum it all up....PERFECTION! I could go on but instead I want to tell you about my sweet friend Kate - the baker of the cake! Not only is she obviously an incredibly talented cake-baker but she bakes the most exquisite pastries and sweets your little heart (and tummy) could ever want too! AND BONUS - Kate has just launched her blog www.thewoodandspoon.com ! I just know you guys are going to want to head on over there and check it out! Kate is married and has the most adorable baby girl - Aimee, and is expecting a baby boy due later this year! Head on over to Kate's blog and instagram to see how she handles life, baking, and babies! You will seriously love her just as much as I do!!
