So now that it is officially fall, it is time for us to make the transition with our wardrobes! Wearing fall clothing (leggings and oversized shirts or sweaters, booties, dresses) etc.) is my favorite part! There is so much you can do with a good fall wardrobe! I like to think of it as the season to be stylish AND comfy! As we girls know, that combo doesn't come around often. So when it's here I definitely welcome it with open arms and take full advantage! Today, I have selected a few of my favorite dresses from Nordstrom to help you transition from summer to fall! Best part is that they're ALL under $50.00!!! At those prices they won't be available long so be sure to check them out and claim the styles you want before they're gone!!

Hey Lovelies!! I am so excited to share this post with you all today. Who am I kidding I'm excited to share every post with you guys but today is a special one because of the heart of the woman behind this special christian apparel brand. My dear friend Inka is the founder and  graphic designer of the Christian clothing line called 139Made, based in Houston, Texas. "I launched 139Made in the beginning of March last year because I wanted to create well-designed relevant graphic shirts for fellow believers, and also to help raise awareness on human-trafficking issue. Houston is one of the major hubs for human (sex) trafficking in our country. I was really shocked when I first heard it, since I thought it only happens in third-world countries. For the past 2 years, God slowly put a burden in my heart to do something about it, however small, using my abilities. So I decided to start 139Made clothing line. It is inspired by Psalm 139, as it was impressed on my heart when I prayed about the trafficking victims and survivors. They are His beloved, fearfully and wonderfully made. And because of that, no one should be enslaved in any form or manner. Psalm 139 is God's declaration of His love and a charge for us to fight for their freedom." -Inka

What a beautiful heart and calling the Lord has given to Inka. And how faithful is she to carry it out! You all know how passionate I am about raising awareness about and fighting against human trafficking so when the Lord led me and Inka to connect I was incredibly joyful!

This "He Sings Over Me" Tee is a super soft and flowy tee manufactured by a sweatshop-free, Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production Certified company. (AND it was printed right here in the USA!!) The inspiration for this design is Zephaniah 3:17. "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing." - How AMAZING is that, that the Savior of the world loves to sing songs over you and me?! Can you picture that? Sometimes when I feel unimportant or discouraged it is so comforting to dive into scripture and read about how just how much the Lord delights in me! In my sinfulness I don't even deserve to enter into his all-knowing and all-seeing mind but because He has ransomed me and has called me as His own I not only enter his mind for a brief moment but am always on His mind and His heart and the Lord delights in singing songs over me - His beloved! I obviously love this shirt for many reasons, the story and heart behind the company's founder and graphic designer - Inka, the awareness on human-trafficking that her company spreads, the reminder through scripture of just how much my Lord and Savior loves me, and the incredible design and softness of this shirt! I can wear it as an everyday tee or dress it up a bit with some jewelry and some pumps - Literally making a fashion "statement." A statement of just how great our God is!

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I hope you will all visit 139Made and find a tee that speaks to you! Until February 12, 10% of 139Made's sales will benefit Compassion First - a Christian relief organization providing life-giving solutions to survivors of child sex-trafficking.

Outfit Details: Plaid Coat - Bernardo Outerwear // Sweater -  (old) but similar here // Jeans - FRAME // Boots - Sam Edelman (old) but I like these here // Earrings - (vintage) but similar here // Sunglasses - Kate Spade // Purse - Ted Baker (old) but I like this one too // Lipstick - Laura Mercier

Hey loves! Today I am sharing with you this precious outfit  I put together and wore this weekend for my grandaddy's birthday brunch! He turned 82 on Sunday and we were so excited to spend the day celebrating him with family! It was such a gorgeous day, which have been so few and far between here in Alabama lately, that of course I had to take some pics! Plus this outfit was just too cute not to share!

I wore my adorable pink and tan plaid wool coat from Bernardo Outerwear (seriously, is this not the cutest coat you've seen this season?! - LOVE anything plaid!) with a pink cashmere sweater, white jeans, and my Sam Edelman knee-high suede boots! I just loved the way these pieces all went together and complimented each other perfectly!

For accessories, I wore a pair of my vintage pearl studs (oversized, of course), my Kate Spade sunglasses, and my pink Ted Baker purse.I felt like a modern day Jackie-O and I LOVED it!!

Side Note: It was FREEZING the day I took these pictures and I was afraid this jacket might not be warm enough (but obviously, I wanted to wear it anyway because it was cute) - I was SO WRONG!!! This coat kept me so warm and blocked all the wind! I definitely put it through the test this weekend and it does its job of being stylish and keeping me warm! Definitely a winner in my book! BONUS: Nordstrom has this coat on MAJOR SALE right now!! I'm talking 40% off! Grab it while you can!

Beach Bag Essentials

Hey guys! So as I mentioned earlier, I am currently working on editing photos from our trip to Key West last week so be looking for those to be up on the blog next week! Since I get asked all the time about my skincare and makeup essentials for pool and beach days I have decided to share with you all what is currently in my beach bag! These products are necessities for me during the summer months and if you give them a try I'm sure they'll become necessities for you too! Hope you enjoy! Also, feel free to share any of your beach bag essentials with me in the comments below so I can give them a try! Hope you are all having an amazing week!

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer -  This is a fairly new product for me but I have fallen in love with it!! It covers any redness or discoloration I may have and gives me a nice dewy- looking, sun - kissed, complexion without making it look like my face is caked in foundation. It is super light weight and I love the added SPF in it! PERFECT for the summer days to come!

Bare Minerals Locked and Coated Topcoat - This is a product I purchased especially for this trip! I have always used "waterproof" mascaras and found them to only be waterproof for an hour or so. This topcoat from Bare Minerals is legit!! It allows me to wear whatever mascara I want (doesn't have to be waterproof) and I put a coat of this clear gel over it and voila!- I get lasting waterproofness that lasts ALL day!!

Josie Maran CoconutWatercolor Cheek Gelee - Another purchase I made especially for this trip but now I am obsessed and will always always ALWAYS carry with me wherever!!!! Seriously you all have to go try it! I mean what is better than something that is a 2 in 1 product?! I can't think of anything! This gel is amazing in that you can use it as a lip stain (which looks completely natural by the way and moisturizes your lips) and you can dab a little on the apples of your cheeks to give you a natural flush of color (aka the perfect blush)! I love having matching cheek and lip color! It looks effortless and feels amazing on your skin!

MAC Fix+ Skin Refresher - I have used this stuff for literally forever it seems like! After applying my makeup I spray two sprays on my face to set my makeup in place! It extends the wear of my makeup and keeps it in place through the day! I also spray my face with it when Im not wearing makeup to give myself a little spritz of hydration to keep my face feeling refreshed! Even with consistent use, this product lasts me every bit of 6 months if not more!!

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - I have been using this stuff for a while now!(Ever since I read that Courtney Kardashian can't live without it!) No, the Kardashians are definitely not role models of mine in any way but I do love Kourtney's style and beauty routines! Anyway, this stuff is an all-purpose product! I use it for intense lip and eye hydration by dabbing just a little on those areas! I also use it on any areas of my face or body that are extremely dry or itchy!

Bright Nail Polish - By the time we took these pictures my nail color was chipped and disgusting (I didn't have time to re-do it before the day so I just went with it!) My color was a sample I received in a birchbox a while back but I love this similar  OPI color in "Cajun Shrimp"! Bright nails are a MUST for summer!

Benefit Lolli-Balm - I received this sample with a purchase from Sephora earlier last week and think it is just perfect to add to my beach-bag necessities collection! If you want a really moisturizing and creamy lip balm with a bit of color, this is your go-to!

Coppertone Water Babies Sunscreen with SPF 50 - CONFESSION:  Ok, so I use to NEVER, I mean NEVER, EVER wear sunscreen when being outside! If I got a little too red, not to worry, it would fade into a nice brown tan the next day! That was my mind set when I was younger and in high school/college, but recently my eyes have been opened to just how harmful the sun's rays are. Like it is no joke! It is bad news bears for your skin!! Not only does it increase your risks for melanoma by like a bajillion percent but it also causes premature aging of the skin! (I mean, I don't want to look 50 when Im 30!!) Tanning either naturally in the sun or artificially in a bed are both no gos for me! I will stick to spray tans or tanning lotions to give me some color! Sorry for the rant but basically my point is.... love the skin you're in and take care of it!!! Anyway, I now use a higher SPF sunscreen and I prefer this Coppertone Water Babies one for my body! I love that it is water-resistent and I just reapply every 80 minutes!!

Neutrogena Pure and Free Baby Sunscreen with SPF 60 - I wear this under my tinted moisturizer which yes has SPF in it also!!! I love that this one is gentle yet effective enough for a babies skin and doesn't cause me to break out!!

Karen Walker Super Duper Strength Sunglasses - If you have followed my blog for a while then you know I live in these! They are so chic and feminine, go great with every outfit, AND offer great protection from the big, bad, sun!!! ( Kidding, I love the sun and love to be out in it, Im just not going to be naive anymore about its effects!!)
